Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Shop Manager to oversee our retail golf shop at Nevill Golf Club in Tunbridge Wells. This role is vital in ensuring excellent customer service and maximizing sales to enhance our members' experience. The Shop Manager will play a key part in maintaining the high standards of our club and supporting its ongoing success.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily operations of the retail golf shop, ensuring smooth and efficient service.
- Lead and motivate staff to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
- Implement upselling strategies to increase sales and revenue.
- Maintain stock levels, inventory control, and merchandising standards.
- Handle transactions accurately and ensure proper financial procedures.
- Provide expert advice on golf products and equipment to members and visitors.
- Coordinate with other departments to promote club events and offers.
- Qualifications
- Proven experience in retail management or similar role within a leisure or sports environment.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional approach.
- Ability to lead a team effectively and motivate staff.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of golf products
- Experience with inventory management.
