The Role

As Shift Manager, you will lead and drive performance across your shift in a cost\-effective and efficient manner. Reporting to the Production Manager, you will have the autonomy to make a meaningful impact on business growth. This role operates on a dayshift 5am – 3pm/backshift rotation 3pm – 1am (5 days over 7\).

Key Responsibilities

● Develop and implement production processes, adjusting as needed.

● Plan ahead, anticipate challenges, and provide solutions to meet production timelines.

● Oversee factory operations during shifts, ensuring smooth production.

● Monitor standards and escalate unresolved issues to the Site Manager.

● Reduce waste and optimize cost efficiency in production.

● Analyze performance data to drive improvements.

● Lead staff training and development.

● Manage personnel tasks, including annual leave approvals and appraisals.

● Ensure a safe working environment, collaborating with the Health \& Safety Manager.

What We’re Looking For

● A confident leader with a strong presence on the factory floor.

● A problem solver who uses data and initiative to improve operations.

● Experience in an FMCG management role preferred, but experienced Team Leaders/Supervisors looking to step up will also be consider

● Fluency in lean sigma techniques, including Value Stream Mapping, SIM/SIC, Standard work, run to target and adopting DMAIC principles.

● Experience in Microsoft Word and Excel

● Experience in conducting Tiered team meetings

• Experience in bottling is preferred.

The right candidate must have experience in managing a team.
