Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations within our busy establishment. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring exceptional customer service, maintaining high standards of food safety and quality, and leading a team of dedicated staff. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual with strong leadership skills and a passion for hospitality to contribute to the success of our restaurant.
Duties
- Supervise and coordinate daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth service delivery
- Manage staff schedules, delegate tasks, and oversee team performance to foster a positive working environment
- Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to uphold quality standards and consistency
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of hygiene across all areas
- Assist in food production, including overseeing kitchen activities and supporting culinary staff as needed
- Serve as a point of contact for customer enquiries, resolving issues promptly to ensure customer satisfaction
- Monitor stock levels, place orders, and manage inventory efficiently
- Implement training programmes for staff on service standards, food safety, and hospitality best practices
- Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of ingredients and supplies
- Promote a welcoming atmosphere that reflects the restaurant’s brand and values
- Proven experience in restaurant management or supervisory roles within hospitality settings
- Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen operations
- Demonstrable leadership skills with experience in team management and supervising staff
- Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations
- Experience in food production, serving, and hospitality environments such as hotels or bars is highly desirable
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively under pressure
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written
- Previous experience in culinary roles such as chef or barista is advantageous but not essential
- A proactive attitude with a passion for delivering outstanding customer service
Pay: £24,420\.00\-£30,000\.00 per year
