An exciting opportunity has arisen for a permanent Machine Operator to join our production team at our dairy in Bridge of Allan.

Reporting directly to the Shift Manager, you will have the responsibility of carrying out legal due diligence checks that must be carried out on a regular basis and recorded in real time with accurate data. You will be required to ensure your line runs in accordance with procedures and raise any issues to management in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain high hygiene standards \- Ensure filler, labeller, shrink wrapper and area surrounding filler is clean \& tidy at all times.


• Ensure food safety controls, authenticity and legality procedures and quality of products is maintained at all times


• Setting up filling machine and ensure smooth running of filling machine.


• Change over parts, products, containers and labels as detailed in work instructions.


• Ensure correct labels are on products.


• Change ‘use by’ codes ensuring correct date code is applied.


• Ensure correct product change over procedures are undertaken.


• Complete all company documentation accurately and in real time for line.


• Carry out regular weight checks and seal checks and record in real time.


• Take samples to the lab in a timely manner


• Maximise filler utilisation and optimise line efficiencies.

The successful candidate will have previous machine operator experience in Bottling, Filling, Labelling and Shrink wrappers preferable, HACCP level 1 (preferably), numerical skills, and the ability to follow SOPs.

You will work 5 days out of 7, this can be any day from Saturday – Friday.

Shifts are 10 hours each.

The shifts are:

• 0600 – 1600


• 0700 – 1700


• 0800 – 1800


• 0930 – 1930


• 1200 – 2200


• 1500 – 0100

You must be able to get to work for all shifts, including at the weekends.
