Shift Leader - Residential Care
Who is Our Place Group?
Our Place Group is an independent group comprising a children’s residential home (Lakeside) and an independent special school based in the village of Bransford, Worcester, supporting young people on the Autistic Spectrum.
What are we looking for?
We are looking for a committed and passionate Shift Leader at Lakeside to provide the best possible outcomes for our Young People.
We're keen to build teams full of strong characters who understand the importance of effective Leadership. If you've got the experience and personality to help support a team, we'd love to hear from you. We would prefer someone with a valid Level 3 in Residential Childcare, but if you're experienced, eager to grow, and the right fit for our team, we'd welcome your application too.
ACCOUNTABILITIES
- To lead on shift and support our support workers in delivering outstanding care within this time.
- To help support and empower our young people living within the home.
- Deliver a high standard of personalised care to each young person.
- Ensure the safety of our young people and those around them daily.
- Leading a Team that works the Our Place way and ensuring the requirements of the home are met.
- Day\-to\-day operational management of a shift and follow\-on actions that come with this.

Our Place Group is fully committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and adults and expects all staff to share this commitment. This role will involve undertaking regulated activity such as personal care or having the opportunity for contact with our children/young people.
Therefore, this position is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and an enhanced DBS and Children’s Barred list check will be required for the successful candidate, there will also be a requirement to subscribe and continue to subscribe to the DBS Update Service.

Pay: £29,000\.00\-£31,518\.00 per year
