Cook/ Chef Part Time

The working hours are 4pm to 7pm, 5 days per week.

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate weekend Cook / Chef to join our team at Stanfield Nursing Home. Working alongside our current cook, you will play an essential role in providing nutritious, high\-quality meals for our residents in a warm, homely environment. The ideal candidate will contribute to the health and well\-being of residents by preparing meals in line with dietary requirements and preferences.

Key Duties

• Prepare nutritious and varied meals to meet residents’ dietary needs.


• Work collaboratively with the team to manage meal planning and stock control.


• Ensure that kitchen and dining areas are kept clean, safe, and organised.


• Support residents in making informed menu choices.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar role in the care or hospitality sector is desirable.


• Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with residents and colleagues.


• Ability to maintain high standards of service and handle a fast\-paced environment.
