We provide support for young people aged 7 to 17 who may have experienced trauma, adversity and disruption in their lives. As a result, some young people may present behaviours that require patience, understanding and a therapeutic approach.
Shift Pattern
The Senior Support Worker role follows a 2\-on, 4\-off shift pattern, consisting of two full days including sleep\-ins, followed by handover the next morning and four days off.
Driving Requirement
As part of the role, staff are required to transport young people to education, activities, appointments, family contact and community\-based opportunities. A full UK manual driving licence is therefore essential.
Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Providing high\-quality support to young people within the home.
- Acting as a positive role model and promoting healthy relationships.
- Encouraging participation in activities, hobbies, education and community opportunities.
- Delivering support using a trauma\-informed and therapeutic approach.
- Supporting young people to develop
