We provide support and care to children, families and adults across Kent, East Sussex, West Sussex, Brighton and Hove, Surrey and the London Borough of Bexley. Our services include registered care homes; supported living; community outreach; day services, including pathways to employment; children and young people’s groups and support; specialist support; and free online support for families and carers across the South\-East.
About the role:
This is a unique opportunity for a Senior Support Worker who would embrace the opportunity for career development to work within our Linnets service, a CQC registered residential care service providing care and support for 8 individuals with a diagnosis of learning disabilities and high dependency support needs.
The role of a Senior Support Worker includes working as part of a team, as well as leading the team daily. Tasks include shift leading, supporting with personal and nutritional care, administering medication, maintaining records, managing appointments, community activities, and finances.
Other responsibilities include supervising staff, updating care plans, liaising with families and professionals, handling safeguarding and incident reports, ensuring rota coverage, conducting audits, and supporting new staff inductions.
You will receive full training and support and play an integral role in ensuring that service users live fulfilling lives with dignity and independence.
You will be provided with full training and support in order to make a success of the role.

Essential criteria for the role.
NVQ level 3 in Health and social or equivalent or working towards
Previous experience as a Senior and working within a team.
At least 1 year experience working with people who are Autistic and have a diagnosis of LD.
Willingness to partake in activities with the people we support that will require the use of manual handling equipment
