Full time hours of 40 x Hours per week \+ 1\-2 Sleep ins as per rota, these will be paid extra at an enhanced rate. 33 days Annual Leave.

REQUIREMENT: Candidates must be over the age of 22 years as per Ofsted regulations and hold a FULL UK driving licence.

Job Outline:

§ To ensure the day\-to\-day management, monitoring and supervision of staff is facilitated in a professional and competent manner.

§ To supervise and coach Residential Youth Support Workers and Waking Night Support Workers ensuring their performance and potential is maximised to meet the relevant standards and requirements

§ To ensure that safeguarding of children and young people underpins all decisions made

§ High quality supervision and monitoring of children and young people’s behaviour, safety and well\-being

§ Contribute to the reviews and implementation of children and young person’s care plans and risk assessments

§ Ensure quality record keeping is maintained and to assist with Quality Assurance tasks as directed by the Registered Home Manager

§ To participate in regular staff meetings which are informative, produce action and minuted

§ To identify individual staff training needs and support where appropriate in the development of staff

§ To deliver and support the induction process of new staff

§ Promote a positive health and safety culture to meet and maintain company and external standards

The home is registered for 3 children (EBD), The Property has been refurbished to the highest of specifications. The home also benefits from an experienced management team and senior leadership team of over 30 years in residential care.
