Senior Site Engineer – Large\-Scale Residential (Midleton, Co. Following strong growth and project wins, we are strategically scaling our operations across the Cork and wider Munster region.We are currently seeking an energetic, ambitious Senior Site Engineer to take up a permanent position leading our engineering team on a prestigious, multi\-phase, large\-scale residential development in Midleton.

You will serve as the technical lead on\-site, managing and mentoring an established engineering team that currently includes one Site Engineer and one Graduate Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and direct the daily tasks of the on\-site engineering team (Site Engineer and Graduate Engineer).


• Setting Out: Execute and oversee high\-accuracy setting out utilizing Leica Robotic Total Stations and GPS equipment.


• Subcontractor Coordination: Supervise, coordinate, and manage diverse trades and subcontractors to ensure smooth project flow.


• Quality Management: Implement and oversee comprehensive site Quality Control (QC) systems, maintaining meticulous records.


• Structural Oversight: Manage site infrastructure, development works, precast concrete structures, and in\-situ concrete pours.

Requirements

• Education: A Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline is highly advantageous.


• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of proven experience as a Site Engineer, with a track record of setting out and managing trades.


• Sector Background: Direct experience working on large\-scale residential developments and extensive site infrastructure works.


• Industry Background: Previous employment with a Main Contractor, Developer, or Tier 1 Specialist Subcontractor in Ireland or the UK.


• Technical Skills: Proficient user of AutoCAD and MS Office. Highly component with Leica Survey Instruments, Icon Software, Robotic Total Stations, and GPS.


• Attributes: A strong work ethic, high energy, and the communication skills required to lead a site team and coordinate with project stakeholders.
