Senior Product Designer
Location: London \- hybrid (4 days in the office)
io.tt is the platform for connected packaging. We enable enterprise brand owners to
create, manage and measure digital experiences across packaging, products, media
and brand assets. In simple terms, io.tt helps brands turn physical touchpoints such
as product packaging, out\-of\-home media, retail displays and campaign assets into
measurable digital journeys.
As a Senior Product Designer, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the platform from
the ground up, designing tools that will power the next generation of connected
products.
In this role you will have exposure and access to industry\-leading expertise, coached
by leadership with 10\+ years designing SaaS platforms and Connected Experiences.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Lead the end\-to\-end design of core features and components within our SaaS platform, from initial concept through to implementation.
- Develop and maintain scalable design systems that enable product and engineering teams to move faster.
- Collaborate cross\-functionally with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to align design vision with business goals and technical constraints.
- Evolve and define the platform’s visual language and interaction patterns to deliver a consistent, elegant experience.
- Communicate design decisions clearly and persuasively at all levels of the organisation.
- Prototype ideas quickly to explore concepts and test interactions with real users.
- Where appropriate, lead or support usability testing, research synthesis, and the evolution of our UX strategy.
- Proven experience (5 years\+) designing complex web\-based platforms or SaaS products, ideally in a startup or high\-growth environment.
- Strong grasp of systems thinking, with the ability to create, manage, and evolve design systems across multiple use cases.
- Advanced UI design skills, with a portfolio that demonstrates finesse in layout, typography, visual hierarchy, and interaction design.
- Fluent in AI\-assisted design, using tools like v0, Figma Make, or Claude to accelerate prototyping, generate UI variants, and produce content at pace.
- Self\-starter with excellent judgement that thrives with autonomy and takes ownership from brief to build.
- Clear communicator and storyteller that’s able to articulate design intent and rationale with confidence, whether in Figma or on stage.
- Comfortable working at speed in ambiguity and iterating based on feedback
- Experience or familiarity with:
- Prototyping in Figma or AI tools
- Information architecture and user flows
- Running usability studies or research activities
- Working closely with engineers and understanding basic technical constraints
- An entrepreneurial mindset — someone who thinks beyond the brief and spots opportunity in the gaps.
