EXPERIENCED PRODUCT MERCHANDISER

Position: Full\-time, office based in Islington, North London (with the opportunity for one discretionary work\-from\-home day per week following successful completion of probation).

Location: N1 3QP, Islington, North London

Salary: £35,000 to £42,000 plus performance bonus

Our reputation is built on creativity, competitive pricing, ethical sourcing and reliable delivery. As our business continues to grow, we are looking for an enthusiastic and commercially minded Experienced Product Merchandiser to join our procurement team.

THE OPPORTUNITY

This is an excellent opportunity for a buyer looking to develop their career within a growing strategic sourcing business.

Reporting directly to the Strategic Sourcing \& Procurement Manager, you will play an important role in supporting sourcing projects, managing supplier relationships and ensuring products are delivered to the highest standards of quality, cost and service.

This is a hands\-on role that offers exposure to international sourcing, product development, supplier negotiations and some of the world's most recognised brands.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

· Obtaining supplier quotations and managing RFQs.

· Supporting sourcing projects across Asia, Europe and the UK.

· Developing relationships with suppliers and manufacturers.

· Managing sample requests and product development timelines.

· Supporting supplier negotiations on pricing and lead times.

· Tracking purchase orders and delivery schedules.

· Working closely with sales, design and project management teams.

· Supporting quality, testing and compliance requirements.

· Maintaining supplier information and procurement records.

· Assisting with supplier performance monitoring and reporting.

WHAT YOU'LL BE WORKING ON

· Licensed retail merchandise

· Promotional merchandise and gift with purchase campaigns

· Collectibles and souvenirs

· Drinkware and homeware

· Stationery and accessories

· Seasonal merchandise

· Bespoke product development projects

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

· Previous buying, procurement, sourcing or supply chain experience.

· Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

· Excellent communication and relationship\-building skills.

· Good commercial awareness.

· Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

· Positive attitude and willingness to learn.

· Strong Excel and systems skills.

· Experience with international sourcing would be an advantage but is not essential.
