The Role
As a Senior Paraplanner, you will provide high\-quality technical and paraplanning support to Financial Advisers while playing an important role in delivering excellent outcomes for clients.
This role goes beyond report writing and research. You will contribute towards client strategy discussions, assist in developing financial plans and work closely alongside advisers throughout the advice process.
The business is also keen to welcome someone who can contribute towards improving internal workflows, systems and efficiencies as the company continues to grow.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting Financial Advisers with technical research and analysis
- Preparing Financial Plans and Suitability Reports
- Conducting research across pensions, investments and protection products
- Preparing and collating documentation supporting recommendations
- Assisting with client meetings, including note taking and follow\-up actions where required
- Managing your own workloads and prioritising tasks effectively
- Supporting improvements to internal processes and efficiencies
- Maintaining high compliance and technical standards
- Collaborating closely with the wider team
- Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (minimum)
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience within a paraplanning role
- Strong technical knowledge across pensions, investments and financial planning
- Experience writing high\-quality suitability reports
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- Desire to build a long\-term career within a growing financial planning business
