Adventure Camps is a fast\-growing children’s activity and holiday camp company delivering high\-energy, creative, and memorable experiences for children across multiple locations.
We are now looking for a Senior Operations Manager to help take Adventure Camps to the next level.
This is a key leadership role for someone who thrives in fast\-paced environments, loves creating structure from chaos, and wants to play a major role in scaling an ambitious and growing business.
You’ll work closely with the COO and wider leadership team to lead the operational delivery of Adventure Camps, support expansion into new locations, improve systems and processes, and help create an exceptional experience for children, families, and staff.
This is not a desk\-only admin role. We’re looking for someone proactive, organised, calm under pressure, and excited by growth.
The Role
As Senior Operations Manager, you’ll oversee the day\-to\-day operational delivery of Adventure Camps across multiple sites.
You’ll play a vital role in:
· leading operational planning and delivery
· supporting and managing site teams
· improving systems and accountability
· ensuring camps run smoothly and safely
· helping prepare the business for future regional expansion
You’ll help build the operational backbone of a growing organisation.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Leadership
· Lead the operational delivery of Adventure Camps across all locations
· Ensure camps are fully staffed, organised, and operationally prepared
· Coordinate seasonal planning, logistics, schedules, and delivery
· Support the implementation of systems, SOPs, and operational improvements
Team Leadership
· Support and manage Site Managers and operational teams
· Create a culture of accountability, professionalism, and positivity
· Conduct regular check\-ins and operational reviews
· Work closely with Recruitment and Customer Experience teams
Staffing \& Workforce Coordination
· Support workforce planning and staffing readiness
· Ensure staff are appropriately trained and prepared
· Help identify staffing gaps and operational risks early
Delivery Quality \& Customer Experience
· Help maintain exceptional standards across all camps
· Monitor customer feedback and operational performance
· Resolve issues quickly and professionally
· Continuously improve the parent and customer experience
Systems \& Growth Support
· Help improve workflows, communication, and operational systems
· Support operational readiness for new venues and expansion
· Attend partnership or venue meetings where operational input is needed
Safeguarding \& Compliance
· Support high standards of safeguarding and operational safety
· Ensure camps operate in line with policies and procedures
· Assist with incident management and operational compliance
About You

Experience working in fast\-paced operational environments is highly desirable.

· Some evening and seasonal flexibility will be needed during peak periods

Pay: £32,000\.00 per year
