Senior Management Accountant
Overview
We are looking for a motivated and technically strong Senior Management Accountant to join our growing team. This is a great opportunity for someone who is newly qualified or close to qualification and is looking to take on real responsibility in a flexible, forward\-thinking firm.
About the Role
You'll take ownership of management accounts across a portfolio of complex clients, acting as a key point of contact and applying strong technical judgement before escalating work to the Finance Manager. Alongside your client work, you'll play an active role in supporting and developing junior team members.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review management accounts, balance sheet reconciliations and complex working paper schedules
- Complete and submit VAT and CIS returns accurately and on time
- Manage client correspondence promptly and proactively raise queries to keep workflows on track
- Collaborate with cross\-functional teams to streamline financial processes and improve reporting efficiency
- Support the budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting activities across a variety of clients
- Prepare and maintain financial schedules to support managers and ensure compliance
- Cover bookkeeping responsibilities when needed, maintaining accurate reconciliations and financial data
- Support, guide and review the work of junior and trainee Management Accountants
- Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement, embracing technology and smarter ways of working
- Newly qualified or close to qualification (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)
- Experienced with accounting software such as Xero or similar
- Strong technical knowledge across management accounts, VAT and financial reporting
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
- A natural communicator with a client\-focused approach
- An interest in technology and innovation — you enjoy finding better ways to do things

Pay: £32,500\.00\-£37,500\.00 per year
