Tidal Training Ltd is a national healthcare training provider specialising in medical and clinical training, Ofqual\-regulated First Aid, and bespoke programmes in Mental Health, Learning Disability, and Health \& Social Care. With our Head Office based in Cheltenham, we support clients across the UK.

Due to continued growth and increased demand, we are seeking three experienced, flexible freelance trainers based in Taunton and the surrounding Somerset area.

We are particularly interested in professionals with backgrounds in:

• Mental Health Nursing


• Learning Disability Nursing


• Psychotherapy

About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity for qualified healthcare professionals with experience in further education and the lifelong learning sector to join a highly regarded training provider.

You will deliver engaging, high\-quality training to a wide range of healthcare organisations, supported fully by our Head Office team.

Essential Requirements

Applicants must:

• Be a qualified healthcare professional


• Hold a recognised teaching qualification within the lifelong learning sector, such as:


• Level 3 Award in Education and Training (or equivalent)


• Certificate in Education and Training (Level 4\)


• Diploma in Education and Training (Level 5\)


• Have experience delivering training within Further Education (FE), adult learning, or workplace\-based learning environments


• Be available for a minimum of 6 days per month (Monday–Friday)


• Demonstrate strong organisational and administrative skills, including timely completion of course documentation


• Be professional, reliable, and committed to high standards of delivery

Trainer Equipment (Essential)

Freelance trainers must have access to:

• Laptop


• Projector (minimum 2000 lumens)


• Scanner


• Extension lead and PAT\-tested cover


• Portable speakers

*All training materials are provided by Tidal Training Ltd – trainers are not required to create or print their own resources.*

Important Information

• Applicants must not be operating their own training company


• We cannot accept applications from individuals suspended or removed from HCPC/NMC registers


• Candidates must be able to provide all required documentation and be ready to onboard promptly
