The Opportunity
 
We’re looking for a Senior Fullstack Engineer to join our Monetization team, a group dedicated to expanding and retaining Veo’s customer base. This team plays a central role in how users discover, evaluate, purchase, and renew their access to Veo’s technology. Your work will directly impact our mission of making sports technology accessible to everyone.
In Monetization, you’ll build data-driven, full-stack solutions that optimize user flows, from onboarding through purchase and renewal. The team works with a pragmatic, modern stack - Python, TypeScript, Rust on the backend, and React and TypeScript on the frontend - with a strong focus on e-commerce architecture, checkout flows, authentication, real-time data pipelines, and application security.

What You Will Do

• Build and improve full-stack features from front end to back end, keeping an eye on performance and how easy they'll be to maintain a year from now.


• Write React and TypeScript frontends that are accessible and responsive.


• Write backend services and microservices in Python and Node.js, following clean architecture principles.


• Review system designs so they fit both the business need and good engineering practice.


• Keep code quality high through reviews, automated tests, and steady improvement of how the team works.


• Work alongside engineers, product managers, designers, data teams, and other stakeholders.


• Take a business need and turn it into something that works in production.

• 5+ years as a software engineer, comfortable across the full stack: React and TypeScript on the front end, Node.js on the back end.


• Hands-on experience building with agentic workflows, from orchestrating AI agents across multi-step tasks to knowing when to keep a human in the loop.


• Experience with automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and keeping things fast at scale.


• The judgment to make architectural calls and set technical direction on your projects.


• Experience collaborating within cross-functional teams.


• You care about the people using what you build, whether they sit inside the company or outside it.


• Fluent English, written and spoken.

• E-commerce architecture, checkout flows, authentication, or real-time data pipelines.


• Application security practices on both front and back end.


• Distributed systems and cloud-native apps on AWS.


• Monitoring and observability tools.


• Monorepos (Nx is a plus) and keeping a large codebase organized.


• Infrastructure as code (Terraform or AWS CDK).


• Backend experience with Rust.
