Accountabilities:

  • Own the company’s external narrative, ensuring a consistent, opinionated, and developer-first voice across all communications.• Write and publish reactive industry commentary on ecosystem changes, platform updates, policy shifts, and monetization trends.• Lead company communications including product announcements, milestones, executive messaging, and strategic thought leadership content.• Partner with product marketing to extend the reach of product launches beyond core announcements through narrative-driven amplification.• Develop and execute distribution strategies for major content pieces, including social, newsletters, selective media, and influencer outreach.• Shape social voice and presence by producing high-impact, opinionated content that builds audience engagement and industry credibility.• Ensure narrative consistency across all external-facing content, acting as a key editorial voice within the organization.• Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, product, and leadership teams to align messaging with strategic priorities.• Identify relevant industry developments and rapidly translate them into high-quality commentary and insights within short turnaround times.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in content marketing, editorial, brand communications, or narrative-focused roles in tech or B2B environments.• Exceptional writing skills with the ability to craft both sharp industry commentary and polished corporate communications.• Strong understanding of developer ecosystems, SaaS, or related technical industries, with informed opinions on market trends.• Proven ability to build and manage narrative-driven content strategies rather than purely campaign-based content.• Experience in content distribution, amplification, and building content that drives engagement beyond publication.• Strong editorial judgment with the ability to identify high-signal industry moments worth responding to.• Ability to interpret data and research and translate it into compelling narratives and public-facing content.• Familiarity with social platforms and building an audience around perspective and thought leadership.• Comfort using AI tools to support research, ideation, and drafting while applying strong human editorial judgment.• Experience writing for technical audiences such as developers, founders, or product leaders.
