Your Role as Senior Care Assistant at York Manor
In this influential and rewarding role, you will help shape the highest standard of care by:
- Expert medication management – safely administering, recording and auditing medications with confidence.
- Collaborating with external professionals – including GPs, district nurses, pharmacists and social care teams, ensuring seamless care for residents.
- Delivering exceptional personal care – always with dignity, respect and a personalised approach.
- Reviewing, updating and developing care plans – ensuring they reflect each resident’s evolving needs and preferences.
- Leading and inspiring the care team – providing guidance, support and motivation to uphold best practice.
Positions available:
Day shifts at York Manor are 8am \- 8pm
Night shifts at York Manor are 8pm\-8am
York Manor work a 3 on 3 off rota, so some weekend working will be required.
You will bring:
- NVQ Level 2 in Health \& Social Care – essential
- Experience in a senior or lead care role within a residential or nursing home
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A genuine passion for supporting older adults
- A professional, positive and proactive approach to care
