The Opportunity: Senior Carer

As a Senior Carer, you will play a pivotal role in empowering our residents to live active and independent lives. This isn't just a job; it's a chance to create meaningful connections and heartwarming memories.

  • Lead and inspire a team of Care Assistants, providing guidance and support.

  • Deliver exceptional personal and social care, fostering independence and well\-being.

  • Contribute to the planning and monitoring of resident care, ensuring the highest standards.

  • Support the induction and ongoing training of Care Assistants.

What You'll Bring

We're looking for dedicated individuals who possess:

  • Proven experience as a Senior Carer.

  • NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care (or willingness to achieve).

  • Proficiency in medication management.

  • A genuine passion for providing outstanding care and supporting others.

  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative team spirit.

  • The ability to prioritise tasks and engage residents in their interests.

Located in a quiet village on the outskirts of the large market town of Chesterfield, Brimington Care Centre is a purpose\-built care home with 42 resident bedrooms. Brimington offers 42 rooms (some of which can be shared if desired), all tastefully decorated and many benefitting from en\-suite facilities. Our dedicated and compassionate care team provide residential, dementia and respite care, as well as intermediate care as an alternative to hospital. Within safe and inviting surroundings, our highly skilled team create personalised care plans in conjunction with residents and their loved ones, placing residents’ wellbeing, personal choice, and independence at the front of mind. It’s important that life continues to blossom for our residents and through first class care, new friendships and special memories made in abundance – we know residents will love their new way of living.
