Stormshield, the leading French publisher and European reference player in cybersecurity, is a subsidiary of Airbus Defence and Space Cyber Programmes and offers innovative, certified, European‑level‑qualified security products for protecting networks and data. To keep growing, we are looking for a Senior C/C\+\+ Developer.

This person must master native development on Windows, be comfortable with continuous‑integration processes, and actively contribute to code quality and security.

What are the responsibilities of the Senior C/C\+\+ Developer?
----------------------------------------------------------------------

• Analyse, reproduce and fix incidents reported by support or customers, and manage technical debt;


• Design, implement and test new features in modern C\+\+ (resource management, smart‑pointers, STL, *constexpr*, *std::thread*, etc.);


• Work hand‑in‑hand with Product Owners and Tech Leaders to create functional and technical specifications;


• Provide strong expertise to the support team (crash analysis, diagnostic scripts, “how‑to” documentation);


• Apply defensive‑programming principles (input validation, buffer limits, encryption, …) in both C and C\+\+;


• Participate in pull‑requests, mentor junior developers and spread best practices.

And, as a bonus, depending on your interests:

• Optimise our CI pipeline (security‑test deployment, static analysis, build artefacts);


• Become an internal trainer, run Tech‑Talks, take part in innovation days…;


• Share your favourite domain (reverse engineering, driver development, cryptography, etc.).

What is the technical environment?
------------------------------------------

• Languages: C (C99/C11\), C\+\+ (C\+\+ 17/20\)


• Windows development: Visual Studio 2019‑2026, SDK/WDK, COM, kernel‑mode drivers


• Continuous integration: Jenkins, Git, automated pipelines (unit tests, static analysis)


• Analysis \& debugging: WinDbg, Sysinternals Suite (Process Explorer, Process Monitor, ProcDump…)


• Methodologies: Scrum, LeSS, Kanban, TDD, code reviews, defensive programming


• Domain focus: endpoint protection, data encryption, access control, EDR

Which team?

You will join the R\&D team for Endpoint \& Data Security products, made up of roughly 30 people organised in Scrum/LeSS and Kanban (large‑scale agility).
