We're working with a welcoming and well-resourced school in South East London that is seeking an enthusiastic SEND Teacher to support pupils with a range of additional needs, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and behavioural challenges. What You'll Be Doing
Deliver engaging, tailored lessons that inspire and support pupils with SEND
Adapt teaching strategies to meet individual learning needs and maximise progress
Create and implement effective Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and targeted interventions
Foster a positive, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment
Support pupils' emotional wellbeing, confidence, and personal development
Use effective SEND-specific behaviour management techniques to help students succeed
Work closely with Teaching Assistants, SENCOs, parents, and external agencies to achieve the best outcomes
Monitor, assess, and celebrate student progress while adapting support where needed
What We're Looking For
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), PGCE, or equivalent teaching qualification
Experience working with SEND pupils, including Autism, ADHD, SEMH, and challenging behaviour
Strong classroom management and excellent communication skills
A creative, patient, and adaptable approach to teaching
A genuine passion for supporting children and young people with additional needs
The ability to build positive relationships with pupils, families, and colleagues
