We're looking for energetic, resilient, and passionate individuals to join a fantastic SEMH (Social, Emotional & Mental Health) school in South East London as a Teaching Assistant.
This role is perfect for Sports Coaches, Youth Workers, Behaviour Mentors, Personal Trainers, or anyone who thrives on building positive relationships and inspiring young people to succeed.
No two days are the same. You'll use your ability to engage, motivate, and mentor students who may have faced challenges in mainstream education, helping them build confidence, develop social skills, and achieve their potential.
What You'll Be Doing:
Supporting students with SEMH needs both in and out of the classroom
Using sports, physical activities, and team-building exercises to encourage engagement
Building strong relationships and becoming a positive role model
Supporting behaviour management and emotional regulation
Working alongside teachers and therapists to deliver tailored learning plans
Helping create a safe, fun, and supportive learning environment
We're Looking For:
Sports Coaching experience
Youth Work, Mentoring, Support Work, or Teaching Assistant experience
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
A calm, patient, and resilient attitude
A genuine passion for supporting young people
Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
