Salary: £30,000 Basic Salary
OTE: £40,000 per annum
Hours: Monday – Friday, 9:00am – 5:30pm (1\-hour lunch break)
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Secured Sales Manager to join our growing team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with a background in conveyancing, property law, legal support, or sales progression who enjoys managing property transactions from instruction through to completion.
The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring transactions progress efficiently, maintaining excellent communication between all parties, identifying potential issues early, and delivering an exceptional client experience throughout the process.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing residential property transactions from sale agreed through to completion
- Liaising with solicitors, conveyancers, mortgage lenders, surveyors, buyers and sellers
- Monitoring transaction progress and proactively resolving delays
- Reviewing legal documentation and identifying outstanding requirements
- Ensuring compliance with relevant property legislation and company procedures
- Maintaining accurate records within case management systems
- Preparing and issuing correspondence and transaction updates
- Assisting clients throughout the transaction process and responding to enquiries
- Coordinating exchange and completion requirements
- Supporting post\-completion administration where required
- Producing reports and updates for management and clients
- Working closely with the wider sales and lettings teams to ensure smooth transaction management
- Previous experience as a Conveyancing Paralegal, Conveyancing Assistant, Property Legal Secretary, Sales Progressor, Property Transaction Manager or similar role
- Strong understanding of the residential conveyancing process
- Experience liaising with solicitors, lenders and other property professionals
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience working with legal documentation and compliance procedures
- Proficient IT and case management system skills
- Proactive approach with strong problem\-solving abilities
- Experience within a conveyancing practice, law firm or property legal department
- Knowledge of Land Registry procedures and title documentation
- Understanding of property searches and transaction requirements
- Experience handling complex chains and transaction progression
You will receive ongoing support from the Head of Sales, with regular one\-to\-one meetings, performance reviews and opportunities for professional development.
