• £174 - £232 per day

Reed Education is seeking a dynamic MFL German and French Teacher for a long-term role starting in September at a secondary school in Wyre & Fylde. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of the curriculum, excellent communication skills, and a dedication to creating an engaging learning environment.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Deliver engaging and effective lessons in MFL German and French to students at KS3 and KS4 levels; experience with KS5 would be advantageous.


• Utilise strong subject knowledge to inspire and motivate students.


• Maintain high standards of classroom management to ensure all students have the opportunity to reach their potential.


• Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of students.


• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to enhance the quality of teaching and learning.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Must have QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent.


• Recent relevant experience teaching MFL German at KS3 and KS4; KS5 is desirable.


• Excellent classroom practitioner with robust classroom management skills.


• Reliable, committed, and capable of acting as a good role model displaying qualities of compassion, trustworthiness, politeness, and good listening skills.


• Strong interpersonal skills, punctuality, patience, and confidence when working with children.
