Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated School Lunchtime Supervisor to oversee students during their midday break. The successful candidate will ensure a safe, enjoyable, and well\-organised environment for pupils while promoting positive behaviour and social interaction. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to the well\-being of children and support the smooth running of school daily routines. Experience in childcare, teaching, or nannying is desirable, alongside being bilingual communication in English and other languages.
Responsibilities
- Monitor students during lunch periods, ensuring their safety and well\-being at all times
- Promote positive behaviour and social interaction among pupils
- Assist with the organisation of lunchtime activities and games
- Enforce school rules and behaviour policies consistently and fairly
- Support children with special needs or behavioural challenges as required
- Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment in the dining area and surrounding spaces
- Collaborate with teaching staff and other school personnel to ensure a smooth lunchtime routine
- Report any concerns or incidents promptly to senior staff
- Previous experience in childcare, teaching, nannying, or supervising children is advantageous
- Fluency in English is essential;
- Knowledge of child development and behaviour management strategies is desirable
- Ability to communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues in a professional manner
Job Type: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: £12\.85\-£12\.95 per hour
