Summary
Working independently on a varied range of tasks which may require the use of some analysis and judgement to complete including, but not limited to, being responsible for co\-ordinating, monitoring and organising administrative/clerical or financial systems and procedures for the school. There may be a requirement to provide support and guidance to other members of staff and be able to deal with correspondence or enquiries and co\-ordinating, monitoring and managing administrative/clerical activities or financial processes.
The post is based in reception, and reception duties will be a core part of the role, joining an existing admin team.
General Duties
- To work within school policies and procedures.
- To contribute to the effective running of the school site.
- To support the promotion of positive relationships with parents and outside agencies.
- To attend skill training and participate in personal/performance development as required.
- To take care for their own and other people's health and safety.
- To be aware of the confidential nature of issues.
- To support the running and effectiveness of systems that contribute to Finance, HR, site management, and the effective running of the Admin team.
- To support when necessary with medical administration, playground duty, and the transition of pupils to and from learning environment.
- To support when necessary tasks that may involve travel to/from the schools off site provision.

Essential Qualifications
- Good standard of education including English and Maths (GCSE grade C/4 or equivalent)
- Relevant administrative or business support qualification or equivalent experience
- Desirable Qualifications
- Qualification in business administration, finance, or education support
- Essential Experience
- Experience of working in an administrative or clerical role
- Experience of working in a busy office environment with competing priorities
- Experience of dealing with enquiries and providing frontline customer service
- Desirable Experience
- Experience of handling financial processes (e.g. monitoring expenditure, reconciling accounts)
- Experience working in a school or educational setting
- Experience using school management systems or financial software
- Experience of contributing to reports or management information
