Newbridge Healthcare Group (NHG) was established 20 years ago and currently owns 12 pharmacies based in Manchester. Both directors are qualified pharmacists and are actively involved on a daily basis in the running of this dynamic group.

We are looking to recruit a Accuracy Checking Technician (ACT) to work in our busy independent pharmacy.
The Role
As an Accuracy Checking Technician (ACT) you will be an important part of the team, supporting the Pharmacist Manager, overseeing the dispensary workflow and ensuring prescriptions are checked accurately and safely, helping to create loyal customers that come back time and time again.
Join us as an ACT you will be part of your local community, supporting the Pharmacist Manager, leading the dispensary team, carrying out final accuracy checks and maintaining high standards of patient safety and customer care. We pride ourselves on customer service and aim to offer this to a high standard on every occasion.
Experience is essential for this position and an ACT qualification is required. Previous leadership or supervisory experience would be an advantage.
You will need to have confidence, be a team player, self\-motivated, with strong organisational skills, good customer skills and the ability to communicate well with patients and colleagues. Good IT skills will help too.
This vacancy is on a permanent basis, however is conditional upon successfully completing the probationary period.
Responsibilities will include receiving prescriptions;
Ensuring prescriptions are checked accurately and safely
Handing out prescription items;
Assisting with the ordering and management of stock levels within the dispensary;
Maintaining and updating all records;
Giving healthy living advice and signposting if necessary;
Replenishing and cleaning dispensary areas and equipment;
Filling blister packs; to carry out all other duties which fall within this role.
The successful candidate must have great people skills as this is paramount to your role.
You will be required to work as part of a well\-established team and ensure our customers receive a high standard of service.
Job Type: Permanent
Pay: Up to £29,250\.00 per year
