Sales Trainer / Sales Coach (Commercial Teams)

As our commercial teams continue to grow, we are looking for an experienced Sales Trainer / Sales Coach to support the development of our Sales Coordinators, Business Development Managers and Account Managers.
This role will play a key part in helping our teams improve their communication skills, sales performance and client engagement.
The Role
As our Sales Trainer, you will be responsible for designing and delivering structured training programmes to support the development of our commercial teams.
You will work closely with management to ensure new starters receive effective onboarding and that existing team members continue to develop their skills and performance.
All training will be delivered in person at our Nottingham office, working directly alongside the teams on the sales floor.
You will help develop key skills such as sales communication, objection handling, consultative selling, client engagement and closing techniques.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver structured sales training and onboarding programmes for new starters
- Provide ongoing coaching and development for existing team members
- Train Sales Coordinators in outbound calling, lead generation and call structure
- Train Business Development Managers in consultative selling, demonstrations and closing techniques
- Support Account Managers with client engagement, relationship management and upselling
- Conduct role play training sessions and call coaching
- Work alongside management to identify development opportunities within the team
- Support the development of sales scripts, processes and best practices
We are looking for someone with hands\-on experience training sales teams in a commercial environment who enjoys helping people develop and perform at a high level.
Essential
- Experience training sales or commercial teams
- Strong understanding of sales environments
- Experience delivering in\-person training sessions and workshops
- Ability to coach objection handling, communication and closing techniques
- Confident presenting to groups and delivering role play sessions
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Background in sales leadership or sales management
- Experience within SaaS, technology or subscription\-based sales
- Experience working with Business Development or Account Management teams
- £40,000 salary
- 25 days holiday \+ bank holidays
- Nearly 3 weeks off over Christmas
