Sales Representative
The Role
Working closely with the Directors, Marketing Team and Sales Team, you will be responsible for identifying and developing opportunities within new and existing markets across the UK.
Whilst the role is primarily office\-based, there will be regular travel to customer sites, exhibitions and meetings.
This is a role for someone who is self\-motivated, commercially minded and prepared to take the initiative. You'll be comfortable picking up the phone, introducing our products to new prospects and creating opportunities, whilst also making full use of our extensive customer database and market presence.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate new business opportunities across the private healthcare sector.
- Develop relationships with dental practices, veterinary practices, private clinics and healthcare providers.
- Prospect and generate leads through telephone outreach, networking and customer referrals.
- Follow up marketing campaigns and inbound enquiries.
- Arrange and attend customer meetings, demonstrations and site visits.
- Prepare quotations and manage opportunities through the sales pipeline.
- Build long\-term customer relationships and identify opportunities for repeat business.
- Work closely with colleagues across sales, marketing and operations to achieve business objectives.
- Meet and exceed agreed sales targets.
We're looking for someone who:
- Has previous sales experience and a proven track record of winning business.
- Is confident speaking with decision\-makers and building relationships.
- Is motivated, organised and results\-focused.
- Can work independently whilst contributing positively to a team environment.
- Is comfortable with business development and proactive prospecting.
- Holds a full UK driving licence.
