Wall\-lag is a family owned and operated business which has been in operation since 1974, based in Mold, North Wales. Originally providing insulation, the company expanded into manufacturing and installing double glazed doors, windows and conservatories, then in 2008 it diversified into renewable technology. In recent years the renewable activity has increased significantly installing Air Source Heat pumps, Solar PV and EV charging stations.
The company has a number of contracts with Local Housing Associations, Local Authority Councils and Utility Providers to support them in delivering their renewable energy strategies.

Sales \& Purchase Ledger Clerk

Duties

Purchase Ledger

• Processing supplier invoices and credit notes accurately within Xero


• Matching invoices to purchase orders and resolving any discrepancies


• Reconciling supplier statements


• Supporting payment runs and maintaining strong supplier relationships


• Liaising with internal departments to resolve invoice and purchase order issues.

Sales Ledger

• Raising customer invoices and credit notes


• Allocating incoming payments


• Maintaining accurate customer account records

Finance Administration

• Maintaining accurate financial records and documentation


• Ensuring all transactions are entered correctly and on time


• Supporting the wider Finance Team with administrative tasks and projects

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who is enthusiastic, reliable, and eager to develop their career in finance.

You'll ideally have:

• At least 12 months' experience in a Sales Ledger, Purchase Ledger, Accounts Assistant, or similar high volume finance role


• Strong working knowledge of Xero (essential)


• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy


• Good Microsoft Office skills, particularly Outlook and Excel


• A positive, can\-do attitude and willingness to learn


• Strong organisational and communication skills


• The ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy environment

A bookkeeping qualification is welcome but not essential—practical experience and the right attitude are what matter most.

Pay: £26,000\.00\-£28,000\.00 per year
