Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Sales Manager to drive business growth. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication abilities, and a proven track record in retail or sales management. The successful applicant will be responsible for overseeing daily sales operations, implementing merchandising strategies, and ensuring exceptional customer service standards.
Responsibilities
- Find and locate customers and take samples for them to see.
- Develop and execute effective sales strategies to expand market share and increase revenue
- Manage client relationships, negotiate contracts, and identify new business opportunities
- Oversee merchandising activities to ensure visual standards are maintained across all retail outlets
- Organise training programmes for staff to enhance product knowledge and sales techniques
- Monitor sales performance metrics and prepare detailed reports for senior management
- Coordinate with marketing teams to plan promotional campaigns and events
- Maintain high standards of phone etiquette and professional communication with clients and team members
- Proven management experience within retail or sales environments, with a focus on supervising teams
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and guide staff towards achieving goals
- Excellent organisational skills with effective time management capabilities
- Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written; proficiency in multiple languages or bilingualism is advantageous
- Demonstrated experience in merchandising, sales management, and customer service excellence
- Ability to handle administrative responsibilities efficiently using relevant software tools
- Previous experience in retail management or related fields is highly desirable
- Strong organisational skills combined with attention to detail and professionalism in phone etiquette
- Management experience that includes supervising teams, developing strategies, and managing organisational operations
