Sales Manager

Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Sales Manager to drive business growth. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication abilities, and a proven track record in retail or sales management. The successful applicant will be responsible for overseeing daily sales operations, implementing merchandising strategies, and ensuring exceptional customer service standards.

Responsibilities

• Find and locate customers and take samples for them to see.


• Develop and execute effective sales strategies to expand market share and increase revenue


• Manage client relationships, negotiate contracts, and identify new business opportunities


• Oversee merchandising activities to ensure visual standards are maintained across all retail outlets


• Organise training programmes for staff to enhance product knowledge and sales techniques


• Monitor sales performance metrics and prepare detailed reports for senior management


• Coordinate with marketing teams to plan promotional campaigns and events


• Maintain high standards of phone etiquette and professional communication with clients and team members

• Proven management experience within retail or sales environments, with a focus on supervising teams


• Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and guide staff towards achieving goals


• Excellent organisational skills with effective time management capabilities


• Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written; proficiency in multiple languages or bilingualism is advantageous


• Demonstrated experience in merchandising, sales management, and customer service excellence


• Ability to handle administrative responsibilities efficiently using relevant software tools


• Previous experience in retail management or related fields is highly desirable


• Strong organisational skills combined with attention to detail and professionalism in phone etiquette


• Management experience that includes supervising teams, developing strategies, and managing organisational operations
