Sales Executive

Overview

McCarthy Hire is a growing equipment hire business specialising in flexible industrial solutions, including evaporative cooling, dust and fume extraction, and industrial vacuum hire. We're looking for a motivated and results\-driven Sales Executive to help us build on our early momentum and grow our customer base across the UK.

Duties

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities through outbound prospecting, networking, and lead follow\-up.


• Build and develop relationships with new and existing clients, understanding their requirements and matching them to the right hire solutions.


• Manage a pipeline of leads and opportunities using our CRM, keeping records accurate and activity levels consistent.


• Conduct product introductions and solution\-based conversations with prospective clients, by phone, email, and in person where appropriate.


• Collaborate with the wider team on campaigns and initiatives to drive enquiries and brand awareness.


• Negotiate and close hire agreements, ensuring a smooth handover to operations.


• Provide a responsive and professional experience for customers at every stage of the sales process.

• Experience in a B2B sales or account development role, with a track record of hitting targets.


• Confident and credible communicator, comfortable leading conversations at all levels.


• Self\-starter who can manage their own day and maintain consistent activity without close supervision.


• Good working knowledge of CRM systems and standard MS Office applications.


• Highly organised with strong attention to follow\-up and pipeline discipline.


• Comfortable working in a small, fast\-moving business.


• Motivated by earning potential, with a desire to maximise commission through consistent performance.
