An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the growing team at Baylis Hereford, following the recent addition of the Suzuki franchise to our successful Vauxhall dealership.
As we continue to expand, we’re looking for a motivated and customer\-focused Sales Executive who is passionate about delivering exceptional experiences and building lasting relationships. You’ll guide customers through every stage of the car\-buying journey, from initial enquiry and vehicle demonstrations to finance options and final handover, ensuring every customer receives outstanding service.

You’ll be a confident communicator with a passion for delivering excellent customer service and achieving results.
You will ideally have:
- At least 2–3 years’ experience in retail or motor sales
- Preferred Motor trade experience
- A proven track record of achieving sales targets
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship\-building skills
- Strong emotional intelligence and active listening abilities
- A self\-motivated approach and the ability to thrive in a target\-driven environment
- Good organisational and time management skills
- A full UK driving licence
- Welcome customers and guide them through the vehicle purchasing process
- Understand customer needs and recommend suitable vehicles across both the Vauxhall and Suzuki ranges
- Deliver engaging vehicle demonstrations and test drives
- Explain features, specifications, pricing, and finance options clearly and confidently
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets for new and used vehicles
- Build and maintain a strong customer pipeline through proactive follow\-ups and networking
- Stay up to date with the latest vehicle models, features, and industry trends
- Follow up after sales to ensure customer satisfaction and encourage repeat business and referrals
- Work closely with finance, service, and management teams to ensure a seamless customer experience
- Complete all sales administration and ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards
42\.5 hours per week across 5\.5 days, including Saturdays and alternate Sundays, with a weekday day off.
