Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and organised Sales \& Events Co\-ordinator to join our team. This role involves managing and promoting events, upselling services, and ensuring exceptional guest experiences across our hospitality and event venues. The successful candidate will play a vital part in driving revenue growth through effective sales strategies and delivering outstanding customer service. A background in hospitality, hotel, or restaurant environments is highly desirable, alongside excellent communication skills and strong organisational abilities.
Duties
- Develop and implement sales strategies to promote our event spaces and services, with a focus on upselling additional offerings to maximise revenue.
- Coordinate all aspects of event planning, including liaising with clients, managing bookings, and ensuring seamless execution of events.
- Maintain detailed organisational records of upcoming events, client preferences, and sales activities.
- Provide exceptional guest services by understanding client needs and delivering personalised solutions.
- Manage time effectively to handle multiple bookings and client communications simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- Collaborate closely with the marketing team to promote upcoming events through various channels.
- Assist community engagement activities to enhance the venue’s profile.
- Ensure all event logistics are handled efficiently, including liaising with vendors, suppliers, and internal departments.
- Previous experience in sales or event coordination within the hospitality industry such as hotels or restaurants is preferred.
- Proven ability in upselling products or services to maximise revenue opportunities.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a professional approach to guest interactions.
- Experience in time management to prioritise tasks effectively in a fast\-paced environment.
- Knowledge of guest services principles and hospitality standards is advantageos
