Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant Supervisor to oversee daily operations within our vibrant dining establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for hospitality, and a comprehensive understanding of food service standards. Duties
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of restaurant staff, including servers, kitchen personnel, and baristas, ensuring smooth service delivery.
- Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to maintain quality standards and consistency.
- Manage team schedules, delegate tasks effectively, and motivate staff to achieve performance targets.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards across all areas of the restaurant.
- Assist in training new staff members in service procedures, food safety protocols, and customer service excellence.
- Monitor inventory levels, place orders for supplies, and manage stock rotation to minimise waste.
- Handle customer enquiries and resolve any issues promptly to guarantee satisfaction.
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with management to develop promotional activities and optimise operational efficiency.
- Proven supervising experience within a restaurant or hospitality setting.
- Strong team management skills with the ability to lead by example.
- Extensive knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and culinary practices.
- Experience in food safety standards and food production processes.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively under pressure.
- Exceptional communication skills to liaise confidently with staff and customers alike.
- Familiarity with restaurant operations, including serving procedures and hospitality best practices.
- Leadership qualities that inspire teamwork, accountability, and high performance.
