Traffic Marshal/ Vehicle Banksmen – Sheffield Forgemasters

Careys are recruiting experienced Traffic Marshals / Vehicle Banksmen to join our team on a major civil engineering project in Sheffield (S9\).

You will support site logistics, vehicle movements and pedestrian safety on a large\-scale industrial civils project.### Key Responsibilities

• Safely direct and control the movement of vehicles, plant and deliveries across the site.


• Guide HGVs and construction plant using recognised vehicle banksman signals and procedures.


• Maintain pedestrian segregation and ensure safe access routes are always in place.


• Monitor site access and egress points, ensuring all vehicle movements comply with site traffic management plans.


• Work closely with logistics teams, site management and operatives to maintain a safe and efficient working environment.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

• Traffic Marshal / Vehicle Banksman Qualification


• CSCS Card


• Previous construction or civil engineering experience


• Strong awareness of site safety requirements

• Logistics compounds


• First Aid


• Safety Critical Medical
