Job Summary
The Hotel Cromwell, located in the heart of Stevenage Old Town, is a busy hotel and popular dining destination. A major part of the hotel operation is our food and beverage offering, renowned for high quality, warm and friendly service.

We are looking for an enthusiastic Restaurant Supervisor who enjoys delivering excellent hospitality and leading by example. Someone who is passionate about guest service, supports and motivates their team, and takes pride in maintaining high standards within a busy restaurant environment.
What you will be doing:
You will support the day\-to\-day operation of our food and beverage outlets, including Brasserie Rump and Wade, ensuring guests receive friendly, professional, and efficient service at all times.
You will supervise service periods, coordinate the restaurant team, assist with training and development, manage guest feedback, and ensure company standards are consistently maintained. You will lead by example on the floor, supporting the team during busy service periods whilst helping to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
You will work closely with the Food \& Beverage team to ensure smooth service delivery, maintain operational standards, and support the successful delivery of breakfast, lunch and dinner.
What you will bring to the team:
You will have previous experience working within a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality environment, ideally with supervisory experience. You will possess excellent communication and organisational skills, be confident leading a team, and have the ability to remain calm and professional in a fast\-paced environment.
You will be passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences and committed to maintaining high standards of service, presentation, cleanliness, and compliance. Experience of training team members, handling guest concerns, and supporting operational performance would be advantageous.
Most importantly, you will be a positive role model who can motivate others and contribute to a culture of teamwork and service excellence.
