About The Role
We’re looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Restaurant Manager to take ownership of the day\-to\-day running of our Zambrero restaurant.
Your primary role will be to set and maintain the highest standards across the restaurant, leading your team to deliver outstanding customer service, great quality food and a safe, clean and enjoyable environment for both customers and team members.
You’ll be responsible for leading, developing and motivating the Zam Crew, managing restaurant performance and ensuring Zambrero’s policies, procedures and standards are consistently followed.
You’ll have the opportunity to make the restaurant your own, develop your team and play a key role in the continued growth of our business.
Your duties will include but are not limited to:
- Leading by example and creating a positive, energetic and engaging team environment
- Managing and motivating the restaurant team to consistently deliver exceptional customer service
- Training, coaching and developing Team Members and Team Leaders
- Managing team performance, setting objectives and providing constructive feedback
- Recruiting and onboarding new team members when required
- Creating effective rotas that meet the needs of the business
- Managing restaurant sales, targets and performance
- Implementing marketing promotions and new products to maximise sales
- Maintaining excellent food quality, preparation and presentation standards
- Ensuring all food safety, health \& safety and cleaning procedures are followed
- Managing stock levels, deliveries, portion control and wastage
- Ensuring the restaurant is clean, organised and ready for every service
- Managing customer feedback and resolving any customer issues professionally
- Completing daily administration, compliance and operational checks
- Managing payroll accurately and ensuring team members are paid correctly
- Monitoring restaurant financial performance, including P\&L and budgets
- Ensuring equipment is properly maintained and reporting any faults
- Taking full ownership and accountability for the day\-to\-day operation of the restaurant
· Thorough training on Zambrero’s products, systems and operating procedures
· Sociable shift times, with our earliest shifts starting at 9am and latest shifts ending at 10\.30pm

About You
We’d love to meet you if you have previous restaurant or food service management experience and are:
- An experienced manager: you have previous experience managing a restaurant, café, takeaway or similar food service operation
- People oriented: you know how to motivate a team, build relationships and create a positive working environment
- A great communicator: confident communicating with customers and team members at all levels
- A natural leader: you lead from the front and aren't afraid to get stuck in during busy services
- Organised and accountable: able to manage rotas, stock, payroll, compliance and the day\-to\-day running of the restaurant
- Commercially minded: understand the importance of sales, labour costs, food costs, wastage and overall restaurant performance
- Customer focused: passionate about delivering an excellent experience every time
- Passionate about food and standards: take pride in ensuring every burrito, bowl and meal leaves the restaurant to the highest standard
- A team player: friendly, hardworking, proactive and someone your team can rely upon
