Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations within our vibrant establishment. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring exceptional service, maintaining high standards of food safety and quality, and leading a dedicated team. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional with a passion for hospitality, culinary excellence, and team leadership. The position is paid and suitable for individuals with previous restaurant or hotel experience, including supervisory roles.
Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of restaurant operations, including staff scheduling, training, and supervision to ensure smooth daily functioning.
- Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to uphold quality standards and consistency across all menu items.
- Supervise front\-of\-house activities such as serving guests, managing reservations, and ensuring excellent customer service.
- Maintain strict adherence to food safety regulations and hygiene standards throughout the establishment.
- Coordinate food production activities with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders.
- Lead team management efforts by motivating staff, conducting performance reviews, and fostering a positive work environment.
- Monitor inventory levels, order supplies as needed, and manage stock control efficiently.
- Handle guest complaints or concerns promptly to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Implement health and safety policies across the restaurant to guarantee a safe working environment for all staff.
- Proven experience in restaurant management or hospitality leadership roles.
- Strong supervisory experience with the ability to lead and motivate a diverse team effectively.
- Extensive knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and culinary practices.
- Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Exceptional communication skills to liaise effectively with staff and guests alike.
- Experience in food production, kitchen operations, or hotel environments is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of barista services or bar management is advantageous but not essential.
