We're looking for an exceptional Restaurant Manager to lead our award\-winning restaurant team at Dormy House Hotel \& Spa.

Nestled in the heart of the Cotswolds, Dormy House is renowned for its relaxed luxury, outstanding food and genuine hospitality. Home to The Back Garden, our 3 AA Rosette restaurant, and MO, our intimate 4 AA Rosette, Michelin Guide\-listed chef's table experience, this is an exciting opportunity to join one of the UK's most celebrated destination hotels.

As Restaurant Manager, you'll be at the heart of the guest experience, leading from the floor, inspiring your team and ensuring every service is personal, memorable and delivered to the highest standards.

Permanent Position:

• 40 hours per week over 5 days

Please note: evening and weekend work is part of the role.

What you'll be doing:

• Leading and motivating a passionate front\-of\-house team to deliver exceptional guest experiences


• Being a visible presence on the restaurant floor during service, building rapport with guests and anticipating their needs


• Driving service standards that consistently exceed expectations


• Supporting the development, training and coaching of your team


• Working closely with the kitchen and wider hotel teams to deliver seamless service


• Managing departmental performance, payroll and stock control


• Maximising revenue opportunities through excellent product knowledge and upselling


• Creating an atmosphere that reflects Dormy House's reputation for laid\-back luxury and outstanding hospitality

What we're looking for:

• Previous Restaurant Manager or senior management experience within a quality restaurant environment


• Fine dining experience is strongly preferred


• A natural leader with a passion for developing and inspiring people


• Excellent knowledge of food, wine and guest service


• Strong commercial awareness and understanding of restaurant operations


• A hands\-on approach and the ability to remain calm under pressure


• A genuine passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences

The details:

• £39,750 per annum


• Plus gratuities (typically adding approximately £2,000–£3,500 per year)
