Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee the daily operations of our restaurant and rooms, we are a small family run restaurant with a maximum of 50 covers alongside 11 bed and breakfast rooms, we pride ourselves on our relaxed, friendly atmosphere whilst keeping our customer service to a high standard.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality demonstrating exceptional leadership skills to ensure our team delivers outstanding service and maintains high standards of food safety and quality. This role requires a passion and commitment to creating a welcoming environment for both staff and guests.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily restaurant and housekeeping operations, ensuring efficient service.

  • Manage inventory levels, ordering supplies, and maintaining stock to ensure smooth operations.

  • Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and professional growth among staff members.

  • Address customer inquiries and complaints promptly to ensure satisfaction and loyalty.

  • Manage the room bookings via our online booking system

Experience
  • Proven experience in a managerial role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a restaurant or hotel setting.

  • Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience in supervising teams effectively.

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage with both staff and customers positively.

Hours

We can provide between 35 and 40 hours per week however can be flexible with this.

We are closed every Monday and Tuesday

Hours are split between Wednesday and Sunday

Wednesday \- 10\-3 (approx) 5:45 \- finish (9/10pm approx)

Thursday \- 10:30\-4pm (Breakfast shift may be required 7:45\-4pm)

Friday \- alternate lunch and dinner shifts \- one week 11\-4pm and the other 4\-finish (approx 10pm)

Saturday 4pm\- finish (approx 10:30\)

Sunday 11\-8pm (approx)

These are approximate shifts, some breakfast shifts may be needed to cover holidays.
