RESTAURANT & LOUNGE MANAGER

The Restaurant \& Lounge Manager will oversee daily front\-of\-house operations, guest experience, reservations, and team coordination across both restaurant and lounge service. This role combines leadership, organisation and hands\-on service, ensuring Nova maintains a consistently smooth, premium and well\-managed operation.
The Manager will work closely with the Chef and Head Barman, support staff scheduling, and ensure service standards reflect Nova’s brand identity.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Front\-of\-House Leadership
- Lead and supervise the FOH team during day and night service
- Oversee table management, guest flow and service pace
- Coordinate with Chef and Head Barman for smooth operations
- Handle guest concerns professionally and promptly
- Maintain ambience, presentation, lighting and cleanliness
- Manage bookings and guest lists via ToastTab
- Oversee seating, wait times and guest communication
- Prepare daily service briefings and handover notes
- Prepare weekly staff rota and assist with shift planning
- Maintain checklists, opening/closing procedures and reports
- Ensure stock logs, service tools and equipment are in order
- Monitor attendance, punctuality and performance
- Support onboarding process for new FOH staff
- Conduct basic training on service standards and guest handling
- Submit daily sales and service reports
- Assist with stock counts and consumables tracking
- Work with Chef \& Head Barman on ordering and usage control
- 2\+ years’ experience as a supervisor or manager in hospitality
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Experience in premium or boutique hospitality (preferred)
- Ability to multitask in a fast\-paced environment
- Confident handling guests and leading service
- POS knowledge (ToastTab experience is an advantage)
- Professional, calm, confident and well\-presented
- Lives within a reasonable commute to SW10
- Enjoys leading people and creating excellent guest experiences
- Flexible for evening and weekend shifts

- Chelsea SW10 0AJ: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
- Have you previously supervised a team of 5 or more staff in a hospitality enviroment?
- Are you available for an interview within 24 \-48hrs
- Restaurant Manager/ Bar Manager / Supervisor in hospitality: 2 years (required)
