Responsibilities
The respiratory products specialist is our local expert for all breathing protection products and related topics – which includes connected products and associated software's (Firegrid). He/she trains our Authorized Service Partners (ASPs), Customers and inside teams (Technicians, Sales) on PG01 and provides them with technical support. He/she performs a broad range of services both in the workshop and at Customers’ locations on this range of products, in cooperation with the PG01 Smartcheck specialist and our Connected solutions specialist.
Training
Attends the European or global PG01 “TtT” training sessions
- Builds the PG01 training modules in cooperation with the European S\&S Training Manager
- Schedules training sessions based on: Customer demand \+ monitoring of the ASP certification file
- Organizes the sessions (rooms, accommodation for trainees etc)
- Actively cooperates with the admin team to provide them with the necessary data regarding training sessions administration: dates, names, content, times, quotations, conventions, passed tests, satisfaction evaluation, completion of the session, invoicing etc.
- Provides the training courses to Customers – including ASPs \- in Châtillon \- potentially at the • Customer’s location
- Provides training courses to MSA technicians \& Sales reps if needed
- Builds the “knowledge database” of S\&S in his area of responsibility in cooperation with PLMs, Marketing, R\&E, Quality, etc…
- Gets or defines preventative maintenance programs on PG01 products
- Gets or defines maintenance procedures in relation to factories (check lists, tooling etc)
- Provides technical support to Customers / ASPs (potentially to MSA Sales reps \& technicians) by phone, video call or even on site.
- Helps Customers/partners to investigate / fix issues on their installed base.
- Audits ASPs on their PG01 service activities – potentially helps on other PGs: technicity, tooling\&equipment, processes, commercial offering, quality of services etc
- Provides market and customer insights to support product improvement.
- Supports Sales teams during pre\-sales (assists in tenders, participate in Customer meetings, presentations…) and post\-sales activities.
- Coordinates the onboarding process of Customers onto Firegrid
- Participates in setting up the connected solutions at Customers’ locations (in cooperation with the Smartcheck specialist when needed)
- Provides software upgrades, databases transfers etc at Customers’ locations
- Trains Customers to Firegrid
- Provides remote services: data analysis, reports etc depending on SLAs with Customers.
- Manages and maintains the “demo pool” for Sales reps / tenders etc
- Performs specific investigations on Customer issues
- Helps handling Quality recalls \- Supports Complex Warranty issues
Experience (required)
- 5 years in PPE maintenance
- English: B2
- IT: connected equipment, servers, networks, database analysis
- Safety, compliance, conformity, traceability culture/background
- PPE regulation / standards
- Trainer / coach / teacher; excellent communication and training skills
- Customer\-facing activities \+ Customer mindset
- Pneumatic technologies
- Bachelor’s degree in technical, engineering or related field (BTS, DUT/BUT)
- Estimated 30%
