At Seed of Light we’re opening the doors to a brand\-new home for children and young people aged 8\-17 years with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD).

Duties

• Provide direct support to children in various settings, including home and community environments.


• Assist with daily living activities, ensuring that individuals receive the care they need.


• Develop and implement care plans in collaboration with other professionals and family members.


• Communicate effectively with children, families, and other stakeholders to foster positive relationships.


• Drive to various locations as required for outings or appointments.


• Maintain accurate records of progress and any incidents that occur during support sessions.


• Engage children in educational and recreational activities that promote their development.

• Previous experience working with children is highly desirable.


• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for this role.


• A valid driving licence is preferred to facilitate transportation needs.


• Familiarity with IT systems for record keeping and communication purposes is beneficial.


• Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being able to work independently when required.


• A genuine passion for supporting individuals in their personal growth and development.
