Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) – Night Nurses

Location: Yorkshire Independent Referrals, Brighouse, HD6 1NQ.

Join our growing team at Yorkshire Independent Referrals (YIR), a newly launched independent referral centre with a strong legacy in orthopaedics and spinal surgery. We have ambitions to expand into a multidisciplinary referral service with a mission to deliver exceptional, accessible care in a supportive environment.

About the Role: As an RVN at YIR, you’ll work closely with our experienced surgeons and fellow nurses to support the care of complex surgical patients. You’ll be encouraged to take initiative, work under clinical direction and contribute to maintaining our excellent standards of patient care and client communication.

Clinical duties include, but are not limited to:

• Over night care of Inpatients


• Delivering excellent nursing in\-patient care to complex referral cases


• Screening Practice phone calls


• Maintaining kits


• Catching up with daily jobs


• As the business expands there will be some weekend duties

What We Offer:

• Competitive salary in the range of £15\-17 per hour (commensurate with experience)


• Pay review after first 6 months on the job based on performance


• 5 days on, 9 days off work pattern


• Sleeping Shift


• 31 days holiday, rising to 34 after 5 years’ service (pro\-rata based on a 5\-day working week)


• £500 CPD allowance (pro\-rata based on a 5\-day working week)


• RCVS and VDS fees covered


• 25% staff discount on services and procedures
