About the Role

We are seeking experienced Registered General Nurses (RGNs) to join a respected network of care providers in Chesterfield \& Sheffield. This ongoing and flexible agency position gives you the flexibility to work where and when suits you best – while making a real difference in the lives of residents and service users.

As an RGN, you will deliver person\-centred, clinically safe care and contribute to a supportive, respectful, and empowering environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualised care plans


• Administer medications, treatments, and procedures in line with NMC standards


• Monitor, record, and report patients' conditions and responses to care


• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including GPs, therapists, and support staff


• Maintain accurate and up\-to\-date clinical documentation


• Provide emotional support and health education to patients and families


• Supervise and support junior staff, healthcare assistants, and students


• Respond to clinical emergencies and manage incidents professionally


• Uphold infection prevention, health \& safety, and safeguarding procedures


• Ensure the dignity, privacy, and confidentiality of all patients at all times

Essential Requirements

• Valid NMC registration (RGN)


• Minimum 6 months of recent clinical experience in a UK healthcare setting


• Up\-to\-date clinical skills and knowledge of best practices


• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities


• Strong organisational and time\-management skills


• Valid Right to Work in the UK


• Up\-to\-date DBS certificate (on the Update Service)


• Completed mandatory training


• A genuine passion for delivering high\-quality, patient\-centred care

Desirable Experience

• Experience in specialist areas such as A\&E, ICU, Mental Health, Dialysis, or Community Nursing


• Leadership or mentorship training


• Familiarity with electronic patient records (EPR)


• Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and nights


• Full UK Driving Licence (preferred, but not essential depending on client needs)

Job Type: Temporary
Pay: £24\.00–£45\.00 per hour (depending on shift, location, and experience)
