About the Role
We are seeking experienced Registered General Nurses (RGNs) to join a respected network of care providers in Chesterfield \& Sheffield. This ongoing and flexible agency position gives you the flexibility to work where and when suits you best – while making a real difference in the lives of residents and service users.
As an RGN, you will deliver person\-centred, clinically safe care and contribute to a supportive, respectful, and empowering environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualised care plans
- Administer medications, treatments, and procedures in line with NMC standards
- Monitor, record, and report patients' conditions and responses to care
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including GPs, therapists, and support staff
- Maintain accurate and up\-to\-date clinical documentation
- Provide emotional support and health education to patients and families
- Supervise and support junior staff, healthcare assistants, and students
- Respond to clinical emergencies and manage incidents professionally
- Uphold infection prevention, health \& safety, and safeguarding procedures
- Ensure the dignity, privacy, and confidentiality of all patients at all times

- Valid NMC registration (RGN)
- Minimum 6 months of recent clinical experience in a UK healthcare setting
- Up\-to\-date clinical skills and knowledge of best practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Strong organisational and time\-management skills
- Valid Right to Work in the UK
- Up\-to\-date DBS certificate (on the Update Service)
- Completed mandatory training
- A genuine passion for delivering high\-quality, patient\-centred care
- Experience in specialist areas such as A\&E, ICU, Mental Health, Dialysis, or Community Nursing
- Leadership or mentorship training
- Familiarity with electronic patient records (EPR)
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and nights
- Full UK Driving Licence (preferred, but not essential depending on client needs)
Pay: £24\.00–£45\.00 per hour (depending on shift, location, and experience)
