Part-time Graphic Designer on Freelance Basis

A rare opportunity has arisen to join a small team as a Graphic Designer, working on a wide variety of projects with lots of opportunity to display your creative flair.

The position is as a freelance worker, so you will invoice us for your hours worked. The contract will be for 2 mornings per week (preferably Wednesdays and Fridays) but the flexibility to work more hours at busy times will be looked on favourably.

You will need to work in the office because of access to physical files/printers etc.

Who are we?

Mailworld are a family run business with only a small number of team members and our main business is digital print. We also operate under the trade name books4schools where we produce diaries, planners and work books for schools and we also run a couple of Etsy shops where we sell a range of foiled personalised books.

Skills

• You will need to be familiar with the Adobe Creative Suite and particularly have a good level of experience with Indesign and Illustrator


• You should be familiar with preparing documents for print, understand different paper sizes, bleed and crops etc.


• An ability to produce layout designs (e.g. diary formats)


• Have lots of creative flair


• Great communication skills, excellent use of the English Language and a good speller!


• Experience of developing and running social media campaigns would also be an advantage


• You'll need lots of ideas, have huge levels of enthusiasm and a positive attitude


• Be organised and methodical in your approach

Pay: £15\.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8\.0 – 24\.0 per week
