Refrigeration Engineer (full time)

Salary

Salary of circa £45,000 \- £54,000 \+ dependant on candidate, hours worked and overtime. Competitive salary, depending upon experience

Working hours:

40 hours

Due to continued growth, we require an experienced refrigeration engineer to join our busy team of respected engineers. A successful candidate will be required to work on a wide and varied range of refrigeration equipment. We particularly seek an individual who gains satisfaction from the standard of their work and works under their own initiative with an emphasis on unrushed, high standard repairs. Our company is run by engineers not accountants and we are proud to work as part of a team and support eachother. The nature of this job means that the individual would home *based*, although you would be required to travel extensively to Customer premises and additionally may be required to travel to our Company Office from time to time, will also include an occasional overnight stay.

We are based in Leicestershire but are willing to consider candidates from other areas (appropriate to coverage required*).*

· *Prepared to* Apply time to do job*s* properly and focus on (where possible) a first\-time fix.

· Able to work on own initiative but not be afraid to seek support when required.

Qualifications:

· City \& Guilds refrigeration qualifications preferred. We would however consider a candidate that could demonstrate extensive technical knowledge and experience in refrigeration.

· Current F\-Gas certification preferred.

· Driving licence essential.

· Regular considerable overtime available at 1\.5 x normal hourly rate after 40 hours.

There would be a 3\-month probationary period during which time either the individual or the Company can terminate the employment on one week’s notice. In exceptional circumstances the Company has the right to extend your probationary period by up to a further 3 months.

After satisfactory completion of the individual’s probationary period, the notice period would increase to one month from the individual and one month from the Company.
