Access Your Care is an established care provider, working directly for North Somerset Council as their leading domiciliary care provider. We are excited to announce that we are growing our Reablement team.
As a Reablement Practitioner, you will be working across North Somerset working with people who have been discharged from hospital, spending a six week period supporting them with regaining independence in their own homes.
You will be working towards an agreed upon goal with your clients, watching and supporting their journey and encouraging them so that they can regain their confidence. You will be assisting with tasks including:
\- Administering medication
\- Food and beverage preparation
\- Assisting with personal care
\- Following clients care plans
\- Manual handling using specialist equipment
\- Providing support and companionship to your clients
Full training is provided for this role, making previous experience not a necessity. There are certain characteristics we are looking for in you. If you:

Good earning potential
\- This is a salaried role, starting at £29,047\.20 for your base pay.
\- Drivers get paid 45p per mile mileage, the highest amount you can be paid without being taxed on it and worth around £4,500 per year.
\- Receive a £1,000 joining bonus for coming on board with us.
\- Get the proud to care bonus, paid to you every six months for working for a North Somerset strategic provider. Worth about £1,100 per year.
\- Add that all together – 29,047\.20\+4,500\+1,000\+1,100\=up to £35,647\.20 earnings in your first year if working full time!

\- Your working day will be 07:00\-14:00 then back out from 17:00\-22:00
